The highlight of the town is definitely its beautiful lake! It's a great place for a relaxing stroll or picnic, and you can't beat the views. The lake's promenade is especially beautiful in summer when you can walk around and admire all the different boats. Wednesday mornings are perfect for such walks because that's when you can see all the young people training on their boats. If you watch from the upper hill of the lake, it's truly amazing to see them all moving together in unison across the water.
In addition to the lake, Starnberg also boasts some impressive villas that are worth checking out. It is a kind of little Beverly Hills in Germany, a place where you can randomly meet sports stars or german famous actors. It is a special place to visit. And for sure you will find some nice places to take beautiful pictures.
